I am so excited to share another amazing 2016 couple, Hannah + Dillon. These two high school sweet hearts (a duo after my own heart), have been friends since they were in first grade. They like to relax, and spend time enjoying the great outdoors; fishing and walking the dogs!

I am so excited to be able to share their day with them this month!

Hooray for these two and their newest adventure!

He is HERE!

Last June, I was lucky enough to help make memories, as Olivia and Jesse celebrated their love with a wedding surrounded by the summer sun, yummy cake, and many loved ones.

This June, sweet baby H helped them celebrate their anniversary, which was earlier than anticipated, but oh so perfect. Getting to watch your friends become mamas is so exciting.

Have you met Malory & Aaron? These two Grand Rapids natives can be found traveling and exploring new places. In fact, their travel list is quite impressive. When they aren’t traveling the world together, they might be outside, cheering on their favorite sports teams or enjoying a nice cold beer or glass of whiskey at the Forest Lake Restaurant. Although they are native to Minnesota and plan to wed here this Fall, they reside in Nashville. I feel so lucky to get to be a part of what is sure to be an amazing day surrounded by some pretty wonderful people.

Lately, I have been working on some amazing projects.
My favorite? Live-in sessions.

Hands in the air for snuggling in your own bed, in your own home, getting real, raw images! HOORAY

Because, it is more than just a family session. Live-in sessions allow you to cuddle in the comfort of your own home (or bed. . .) and capture what is raw, and beautiful about your amazing life. Dipping into lifestyle photography was the best thing I’ve ever done. I have been privileged with amazing clients who value our time together and the things that are happening in their life, at that very moment (which is truly, the most important.)

So WHY live-ins? GREAT question! Don’t get me wrong – any image of your family is sure to be perfect – but over here, it’s about the imperfections, and spending the moments where you feel your best and most comfortable, with the people you love!

When the temps of your Fall engagement session match the expectation of your July wedding, you make the most of it!

So glad Brittany & Brian were up for the heat during their amazingly, colorful, October engagement session. If we can rock 80 degree temps in the middle of October in flannels and jeans, I can’t wait to see what magic happens in the middle of the Summer in a wedding gown and suit 🙂
