megan & tim part 2 – Grand Rapids Engagement Photographer

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot Megan & Tim’s second session at the pumpkin patch!

Their first session was shot at an antique farm on a warm fall day. This time we bundled up, put on our boots, and crunched through the snow to get some awesome cuddle shots with some fantastic color.

You guys rocked it!

Got up close in personal with a cut little piggy <3

Goofing around =)

Fun ring shots!

 Love you both!

April can’t come soon enough!

megan & tim part 1 – Grand Rapids Engagement Photographer

Excited about this blog post tonight, as it includes some special, special people! Meet my future sister and brother-in-law, Megan & Tim.

They’ve known each other for quite some time, but Tim always knew Megan as his best friend’s little sister.  When that friend got married a year and a half ago, Megan & Tim made a love connection when they were both attendants in the wedding. At the time, Tim was living in Alaska and Megan in Minnesota – but they didn’t let the distance stop them from being together, as they made long flights back and forth to see each other.

Tim eventually moved home to Grand Rapids, and now they’ve bought a house and are getting ready to tie the knot in April! They share a mutual love for the outdoors. country music, and their adorable pup, Tilly.

We climbed in the back of “Prowlers”, walked through weeds, and sat in wet grass – but it was all worth it for these awesome fall photos.

Thank you so much for including me in your guy’s special adventure! I love you both!

Love me some black & white images!

Hello, beautiful sunset!

alta – Duluth Senior Photographer

I love a good pair of boots, a good scarf, and ALWAYS a good laugh!

Alta and the lovely ladies in her life came to Duluth this weekend, to capture her senior photos. Luckily, the weather did not take away from the warmth of the fall colors [although, it did take away the warmth!]

This girl is full of style, ideas, and smiles – so glad I had the opportunity to meet Alta, her mom, Kelly, and her sister, Cece –  you ladies ROCK!

Hello, fall colors!  ♥

favorite, favorite, favorite location!

rock the dress

I’ve know Heather for about a year now, through work.

Heather was married July 14 of this year and decided she wanted to get back into that wonderful gown of hers. Instead of the “trash the dress” session, Heather wanted to “rock the dress”… and she did just that.

I can NOT get enough of the fall colors with Heather’s hair color and jacket! Everything from the lighting to the weather (we did get a little chilly) was absolutely perfect!

I’ll start with my favorite image from the evening…

Talk about location!!!  Love, love, love the detail on the right!

Heather resembles a certain Disney Princess in these next few images, if I do say so myself… SO BEAUTIFUL!

This is her wedding gown, not snow!

Perfection!
